Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2013

Here we go! So you may think since I am currently on the design team, I am a "shoe in" for 2013. But not so! I know that the team at Graphic 45 always wants to keep everything fresh and exciting for their followers, so there are no guarantees here! I even almost didn't try again, because let's face it, there is a fear of rejection. All of us who put ourselves out there for those few coveted spots are taking a risk, but not guts no glory! So I created 6 brand new projects to present... and here they are!
Altered Mirror:
 {I  created this project for the Petaloo Guest designer feature. Thanks to Petaloo for giving me the okay to post for my audition!}

{I used the Place in Time stickers directly on the IKEA 4.99 mirror}
 {here I used a gently glittered Place in Time chipboard piece}
 {I love the chipboard flowers which I embellished with some Petaloo accessories}

 {I used Clearsnap gold embossing powder and Hampton Arts Graphic 45 French Country Stamps}
{I used some Jolees French General embellishments that went great with this G45 Collection}

{On this side, I used a Graphic 45 Metal Staples Door Pull as a "vase"}

{In love with these little banner pieces!}

{This lovely vintage lady is from The Graphics Fairy and is put on using Craft Attitude transfer film- my new fav!}

  12. Denise - you continually amaze me with your creativity! I agree with you. My favorite piece is the altered soldered glass house. I love how you mixed the Graphic 45 products with soldering. It has a bit of everything in it. Of course, my favorite part is the rhinestone trim. Gotta love the bling.

    And you did a few things that I never thought of before - the rubber stamping on the glass with embossing powder and attaching the file drawer pull to the glass to hold the flower.... genius!

    Good luck to you!
    Shawn.

  18. ok, i totally landed here by accident (improperly linked Pin) but your beautiful creations demanded to be looked at and admired! then as i was scrolling through (and i admit, only skimming the text) your birthday caught my attention because it's my birthday, too - so although this is my first visit, it probably won't be my last, and you have all my best wishes for you to be selected again1

  19. These are so totally original and intricate, and I would want to try to do each and every one! I can't imagine how you could not be included "Graphic 45 Design Team", and if you are, that would be THE draw for me to look at all these materials' links. A friend sent this to me, and it's not the first design by Denise that I was sent, and the other one was out of this world as well. I HOPE very much you are included!
