Its a little inspiration board, but it can be used for anything from coupons, shopping lists car keys- the list goes on. All you need it a little wood board, 4 clothes pins, hot glue gun and some Twinery Caribbean twine! This is a super flexible project so you can use pretty much any of The Twinerys twines. Yeah, some times you have to buckle down and get a gift card. Now they may not be as personal as a hand picked gift- you can make them super special with a handmade gift card holder. This gift card holder has a pretty cool but involved focal point- the twine weaved gift, but the rest of the card is super simple to assemble and I made a nice little Snapguide to show you how I did it!

BLOG HOP Giveaway with The Twinery and Ruby Rock-it

Welcome hoppers hopefully you came here from the Netherlands... or at least from Moniques Awesome blog HERE. Ready for some more inspiration from The Twinery and Ruby Rock-It? I got Ruby's Oriental Chic to play with and the second I saw it I thought of an adorable picture of my friends baby dressed up like a little piece of sushi! Now that's a picture that deserves memorializing in a scrapbook page and here is what I came up with-

{Twine is always a great accent piece, and the metallic copper I used played off the foil in the background paper and the "baby" letters}

{I always look for a place to add an extra little twine and this addition balanced nicely}

{Ruby Rock-it has amazing wood embellishments that are a great contract to the bold colors and metallics}

NOW- how about those prizes???

Ruby Rock-It will be giving away the Essence Empire Bebe collection (Album not included).

The Twinery will be giving away THREE FULL SPOOLS of twine (winner’s choice!) ($45 retail value). Hoppers can visit the Twinery blog and the Ruby Rock-It blog to find out how to enter to win.

The Twinery and Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop- Sweet and Simple Gift Boxes

Welcome Hoppers from: Holly Craft - http://todayscreations. blogspot.com/
I love a good gift box, and these are my favorite. I call them my little cake slices! They can be used to fit a small gift, gift card or even to use as party favor boxes. You can find the 5 minute tutorial on how to make the box HERE.  You can make these as simple or as complex as you want, and these Serendipity Stamps were so versatile. The icing on these "cakes" is The Twinery twines! Make sure you visit The Twinery and Serendipity Stamps blogs to find out how you can enter to win some very cool prizes-
The Twinery - http://thetwinery.com/blog is giving away a full set of solids!

Serendipity Stamps - http://serendipitystamps.com/ blog- Is giving away a $25 gift certificate to their shop!

{I pre made the stamp part, cut it out and attached with foam dots}

{kept the closure simple by just doubling up the Twinery  twines to play off the floral stamp colors}

{the technique I used was what I call overstamping- I line up my stamp with my paper, make a light stamp of the image. Color it using my izink pigment and a fine brush, then overstamp it again with black ink, making sure to line the stamp back up perfectly}

{for this one the lines were easy, so I just stamped and then painted over the top}
{I loved how the side stamp sentiment came out}
{I did a lace up technique with my Twinery Twine. When punching the holes, you may miss the very edge of the paper (see very bottom hole} no worries after it's tied you won't even notice

{Yeah Mason jars, I am NOT over them...}

{I did just two holes on this one with a simple bow}
